Multiple reports confirmed Nick Cannon’s 5-month-old son, Zen, died from a brain tumor.

According to NBC News, Cannon made the announcement on Tuesday that Zen died over the weekend.  He released this information on his show, “Nick Cannon.”

 Referencing the aforementioned source, Zen was Cannon’s seventh child; Cannon shares his love for Zen with his mother Alyssa Scott. Cannon has been an active philanthropist, activist, producer, among many other things. In some of his most recent interviews, Cannon told the Associated Press, “I’m rolling up my sleeves and going out to these communities and jumping into it. I’m not just reporting the stories but trying to become a part of the story…” Reiterating information from NBC news, Cannon will be taking time to grieve for his son.
According to etonline.com, Zen’s mother paid tribute to her son with a collage of precious moments and posted it on Instagram moments after the announcement.
