The Rams Celebrity Game was epic, full of stars including YG, D Smoke, Matt Barnes, Massy Arias, OT Genasis, Reason TDE, and more. It’s obvious some of these entertainers played sports before stardom.
YG surprised fans and dashed for a 40 yard run with spin moves. D Smoke loved the energy and said, “I saw YG pushing the envelope. He went for a 40-yard run, and I said it’s real. We met the energy.”
Reason TDE caught an interception on legendary USC quarterback Matt Leinart and jokingly tweeted, “So after my interception on Matt Leinart, I’m leaving music behind. It was fun while it lasted. Taking my talents to the NFL. I’m giving the Rams first dibs at a contract.”
Team Jalen Ramsey vs. Team Aaron Donald turned out to be highly competitive. In the first half, the celebs wanted to have fun, showcase some moves and entertain the Rams.
In the first half, both teams wanted to enjoy themselves, says Massy Arias.“Second half, we took it very seriously, and it was fun. I am fast and athletic. I can stop somebody,” says Arias.
Matt Barnes brought his sons out to the game as he displayed his athleticism. He noted that the most important job in the world is to be a father. “I got three beautiful boys, and I couldn’t imagine life without them. They are my greatest accomplishment.”
Barnes said it’s important to give back to the community and support the Rams.
Roc Nation artist Kalan Frfr played the celebrity game at a high level. So many fans wanted to photos with him as he gave back to the community. After the game, he said, “I wish somebody would say I didn’t play for the Rams.”
Team Donald won easily, and they took home the trophy. Fans had meet and greet opportunities following the game.
