Pastor E.V. Hill Homegoing Services Finalized

The final remembrance services were announced for Rev. Dr. Edward V. Hill II, the pastor of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and Spirit of Zion Fellowship Church, who passed away suddenly on August 12, at the age of 52.

The only viewing will be held Thursday, Aug. 22, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Angelus Funeral Home, 3875 S. Crenshaw Blvd., in Los Angeles. Mt. Zion will host a memorial concert on Friday, Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary located at 1300 E. 50th St., in Los Angeles.

His homegoing service will take place on Saturday, August 24, at 10 a.m., at West Angeles Cathedral, 3600 S. Crenshaw Blvd., in Los Angeles. The service will be streamed live on The internment will be held at Inglewood Park Cemetery. The public is invited to attend all observances.
