The newest late night foodie craze is The Spot On Pico(TSOP). The restaurant began as a hidden- gem, with down-home southern cooking and hospitality, however, Yelp customers have rated The Spot On Pico 5 Stars!

The Spot on Pico is located at 5661 W. Pico Blvd in Los Angeles. Hours are 9 PM until 2 AM, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights only.

The restaurant emphasizes southern comfort “supper boxes” which include signature dishes like Chicken & Waffle sticks, Chicken and link sandwiches, along with mac & cheese, collard greens, black eyed peas, candied yams, dirty rice, gravy fries and the best cherry, blueberry and peach cobbler in town.

“We wanted to create a place where all kinds of people could sit down next to each other and share a meal,” said owners Melonee M., Jimmy A. and Reno L.

The Spot On Pico began when the duo. noticed the lack of good late night eating spots in Los Angeles and decided to open their own restaurant.

LA.Eater.com says, “If there’s another business in town quite like The Spot On Pico, please let me know. The tiny storefront, which feels something like a permanent pop-up, sells Southern-style chicken, links, sandwiches and sides”.

The Spot On Pico is only open three days a week. TSOP, as their patrons have coined it, has become a hidden hotspot for celebrities and athletes to get their late night southern food fix. The owners have created a unique menu, which derived from a blend of old family recipes and a dining experience that feels like you’re eating from your mothers’ kitchen with friends and family.
