Up-and-coming new web series, “Adulting,” has been chosen as an official selection to be screened at Indie Night Film Festival at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The web series, which made its debut on YouTube on September 28, 2017, can be seen on the big screen on Saturday, February 17, 2018. The red carpet begins at 2:30pm with show times starting at 3:00pm.

The festival will showcase a compilation of the first season. The full 8-episodes of Season 1 can be seen on the official “Adulting” YouTube Channel. Shot in Los Angeles, the series stars Christina Ford as a young millennial woman who is faced with navigating real “adult” decisions as her post collegiate plans are slightly interrupted. Supporting cast includes Diana Lu (Brooklyn 99) and Moriah Johnson (Baldwin Hills). The project was shot and directed by Jaszmin Kuhner (Basketball Wives & America’s Got Talent).

“We wanted to create something that millennials can relate to and identify with, bringing real life decisions and scenarios into play and giving it a comedic, honest twist.” – Sabra Marie, Writer & Creator

ADULTING writer & creator Sabra Marie, is a graduate of Spelman College, a member of SAG/AFTRA and a recognized photographer and creative consultant. This is her first debut as a writer and producer. The series features music by soul singer Emi Secrest (The Real, Claws), R&B Soul artist Redio, Soul Duo Soul Revival and other dynamic artists. Philanthropist, coach, author and community leader Wendy Gladney is Executive Producer.

Indie Night is supported by individuals like Emmy-Award winning casting director, Robbi Reed, and director/producer John Singleton to name a few. With a growing presence on the movie scene, Indie Night Film Festival is one of the go-to events in Hollywood for filmmakers and lovers alike.
