Commissioner Mike Davis, President Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Board of Public Works, is a member of the inaugural Doctorate Degree Program in Organizational Leadership at the University of Southern California, held at the recent graduation commencement ceremonies. His dissertation research is: Achieving Diversity on Local Publicly Funded Construction Projects in California: Knowledge, Motivation and Organization Factors Influencing Prime Contractors in the Selection of Minority Subcontractors.
