Bishop Leon and Dr. Jacqueline Martin and the Love, Peace and Happiness Family Christian Fellowship Church will present their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 31,
Two uplifting services are planned. The first service takes place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Compton location, 400 S. Santa Fe Ave. The second service will be held from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight at Los Angeles location at 4951 S. Figueroa St.
“This will be a time of high praise and worship, united prayer, prayer for the sick, prayer for debt cancellation and the Word of God from various local ministers,” said Bishop Martin, who added that he will also share “a powerful word and praying for special needs and for new directions for the coming year.”
Inviting the public to attend, Martin noted, “We look forward to 2020 for a new beginning. Newness of life is always available through the Lord Jesus Christ. You don’t want to miss this spectacular service on New Year’s Eve.
“Come expecting God to move as we pray the old year out and the New Year in. Rather than making a new resolution, come revel in the joy of the Lord with us!”
