Los Angeles County officials and partners will hold a Grand Opening Celebration for the County’s Veterans America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) November 8, 2017 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bob Hope Patriotic Hall 1816 S. Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90015. The Veterans AJCC is a regional job center located in downtown Los Angeles at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall that provides comprehensive employment and training services tailored to meet the unique needs of Veterans and their families. The easily-accessible location of the Veterans AJCC at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall enables Veterans and their families to access a full range of additional services located on-site, including housing, child support, legal services, and mental health services. The Grand Opening Celebration will include a formal speaker program, a ribbon cutting, photo opportunities, light refreshments, and tours of the Veterans AJCC. Banks, Director, Los Angeles County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services; Brigadier General Ruth Wong, Director, Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and Rusty Hicks, Executive Secretary-Treasurer, Los Angeles County Federation of Labor.
