Let us humble our hearts and call on the name of Jesus for divine protection over our judicial system. O Lord, we pray for the many individuals involved with the four indictments and 91 charges against the former President of the United States. No one should endure threats, vicious attacks, or abusive degradation for their jobs as judges, lawyers, state, local, county officials, and jurists.
We pray, especially for the Special Counsel Jack Smith, chosen by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. Let him not become weary in well doing. Guide him and order his steps in everything he does according to your will.
In the Bible, the only female judge, the only one to be called a prophet, and the only one described as performing a judicial function in the defeat of the Canaanites was Deborah. The Bible says, now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided as we pray for the special council.

God of grace and mercy, we also pray for the protection of U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, a Black woman assigned to the election fraud case against the former President. Give her the wisdom of Deborah and the boldness of Esther in knowing that she has been chosen for such a time as this.
We pray O God for the protection, wisdom, and confidence of Fani T. Willis, the district attorney in Fulton County. Lord, you know the challenges she faces. You see the mountain she will have to climb. You are aware of the opposition against her. She needs you, Lord, as she prepares to defend the criminal charges against the former President and his many co-conspirators. When Goliath, who did not believe in Israel’s God, challenged the faith of Israel, and mocked their God. David took the challenge and prepared to fight Goliath. With a sling and a stone, David defeated this Philistine giant.
Most gracious God, you are the master of our destiny and the giver of every good and perfect gift. Give Fannie Willis a David spirit as she comes up against her Goliath and his Philistine army. Finally, I pray for the protection of the grand jury. In the name of Jesus, may your spirit guide, protect, and watch over their lives, families, and well-being. Keep their minds in perfect peace and let no weapon formed against them prosper. This we ask in the name of Jesus.
