Danny J. Bakewell, Sr., center, executive publisher of the L.A. Sentinel Newspaper, recognized Angela Howard and Tom Dorsey as the longest-serving staff members of the Sentinel. Bakewell honored Howard and Dorsey during the paper’s 90th anniversary celebration at the Power, Influence and Leadership of the Black Woman awards luncheon on April 15.
