L.A. Praise Network, a 24-hour gospel digital television station, is on the air with ongoing programming on Channel 6.2. The Black-owned channel, which reaches five counties in Southern California, is also simulcast at www.lapraise.network.

“Thanks to the Internet, our channel is available worldwide, taking the wings of praise, preaching and powerful testimonies to the four corners of the earth,” said Minister Gregg Bynum, founder and president of L.A. Praise Network.

A native of the Watts district in South Los Angeles, Bynum has a long history of working with local churches and their outreach ministries. He also has extensive broadcasting experience and after receiving the vision to start a gospel channel in L.A., Bynum immediately sought out opportunities to make it a reality.

Joining Bynum is Bishop Ernest Johnson of Hosanna Ministries, who will serve as vice president of operations. Johnson, who brings decades of broadcasting skills, worked over the years at Compton’s Religious Access Channel, Philadelphia TV and with Paul Crouch and Terry Hicky of TBN.

“I have traveled the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and also produced spots for Oprah Winfrey, Maury Povich, Marylyn Kagen and many other national talk shows as well as produced films and television programs,” said Johnson.

“The L.A. Praise Network’s vision is to reach souls with the inspiration of God’s music with its uplifting praise and worship and also give a platform to local ministries to reach a larger audience outside their churches and extend their pulpits via outreach efforts, reaching the lost at any cost,” he added.
“For more information or to join the soul winning efforts of L.A. Praise Network, log onto our website at www.lapraise.network or lapraise.tv,” Johnson said. “You can also call us at (213) 400-2448.  We are available for 24-hour prayer needs.  ‘Come praise with us’ is our motto!”
