The A.M.E. Church Fifth Episcopal District Midyear Convocation and the 50th Ministerial Anniversary of Presiding Prelate T. Larry Kirkland, Sr., was held March 13-16, at the LAX Hilton Hotel.
The agenda included worship, business sessions, workshops and an Anniversary service and reception. Also, a special luncheon was held honoring Mrs. Mary L. Kirkland, Episcopal Supervisor of the Women’s Missionary Society, for her commitment and support to overseas and local missions.
Bishop Kirkland and 5th District ministers welcomed Bishop Gregory G.M. Ingram of the10th Episcopal District to the convocation.
