Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family along with many celebrities mourn the tragic loss of the 22-year old upcoming star and social media has been flooded with tributes.

Brown is the scion of legendary singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston. Bobby Brown states the he is “completely numb” due to the loss of his baby girl who has departed much too soon.

Filmmaker and family friend Tyler Perry reportedly vowed to Whitney to keep Bobbi Kristina safe. Perry was very close to Whitney Houston and always treated Bobbi like one of his own and even gave her a job opportunity. In the time of difficulty, Perry along with Bobbi’s other immediate family never left her bedside, Perry even came to the defense of Bobbi Kristina as she was in hospice care, requesting “decency and respect” for Bobbi as well as the Brown/Houston family.

Bobbi Kristina struggled with the loss of her mother, constantly posting on Twitter about how she missed her “mommy.” Bobbi mirrored her mother’s footsteps by taking on the use of drugs and being found unresponsive in her bathtub. After spending months of being hospitalized and reportedly brain dead, she was put to rest on Sunday, July 26.

North America’s own black billionaire Oprah Winfrey sends her condolences for the loss of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina as well. Oprah Winfrey was the first to interview Bobbi Kristina after the loss of her mother in 2012 and seemed to connect with Bobbi as she stated that she could always feel the spiritual presence of her mother. Winfrey believes that Bobbi can obtain “Peace at last!”

The grandmother of Bobbi Kristina and former singer Cissy Houston cited that the doctors diagnosed Bobbi Kristina with irreversible brain damage, which contributed to her continual unresponsiveness. Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma, however, unfortunately never came out.

Whitney Houston took in Nick Gordon, and eventually as both Nick and Bobbi Kristina grew older, they become involved. Since the news of her tragic death, Nick has been placed on suicide watch as he mourns the death of his girlfriend.

Relations between Gordon and some other relatives continued to sour over the past year after Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized. A protective order barred him from being within 200 feet of Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt. A feud erupted over whether Gordon could visit Bobbi Kristina while she stayed in the hospital, says Associated Press.

On June 24, Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed representative sued Gordon, accusing him of misrepresenting his relationship with Bobbi Kristina. The complaint accused him of being violent toward her and taking more than $11,000 from her account while she was in a medically induced coma after the Jan. 31 tragedy.

The Houston’s cousin, Dionne Warwick, sends her condolences as well stating that Bobbi “was a sweetheart,” and will surely be missed. She reminisces on Bobbi’s past by telling what a good little girl young Bobbi was.
