Talented gospel artists will grace the stage at the Mid-Summer Music Festival on Saturday, August 7, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Greater New Canaan Church of God, 5835 Brentwood St., in Los Angeles. The free event will feature vendors, entertainment and a kids zone.

Dewayne Williams will serve as the first emcee, introducing performances by Madeline Mosley, BZY and Medina Lester at noon. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Prez Blackmon, also known as “The Voice,” will host the festival. Franchesca White, Mikel Ruffinelli, Sonya Griffin, Tasia Woods and Tim Bishop Brown are scheduled to sing during the first hour. The next 60-minutes will spotlight the gifts of Boom Squad, Zaneta “Motha” Brown, Divine Praise Dancers, United Sistas, and Michael Larry and the Soul Touchers.

Broadcaster Kevin Nash of KJLH radio will headline the next section. The line-up includes Smith and SOJ, Cecil Thompson Ministries, Glad II and UncleChucc and The Zion Messengers.
