The members of Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church will salute the spiritual leadership and community efforts of Pastor Solomon and First Lady Isabel Drake with the 32nd Appreciation Services.
The tributes will take place on Sunday, September 21, and Sunday, September 28, at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 4 p.m., in the edifice located at 5300 South Denker Avenue in Los Angeles.
The theme is ‘A Charge to Keep and a God to Glorify.’ The scripture references are 1 Kings 2:2-3, 1 Timothy 1:3-4, and 1 Peter 4:11.
“We invite the community to join us as we celebrate our wonderful pastoral family for leading by example, serving with gratitude to God and showing compassion for the flock as they give directions for spiritual growth and development,” said co-chair Leonard Howze.
“They diligently proclaim through their actions and words to everyone that God sees us, God knows us, and God loves us. He’s able to meet our every concern or need, we only have to open our heart and mind and let God in and receive our Blessings,” added co-Chair Paulette Francis.
The guests will be Pastor Terry L. Brown and Liberty Baptist Church members on September 21, and Pastor Larry D. Hooks and the New Hope Baptist Church congregation on September 28.
