“We are expecting a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit as we gather for praise, music, teaching and preaching,” said Bishop Craig A. Worsham, Evangelistic Chairman, who is coordinating the service with Pastor Calvin Bernard Rhone, Chapter Representative.

The service will include a lecture by Pastor Prentiss Lewis of Greater Starlight Baptist Church and the sermon by Pastor Elton Johnson of Metropolitan Baptist Church. Also, the Metropolitan choir, GMWA-L.A. Chapter choir will perform along with other guest soloists and musicians.

Inviting the public to attend, Worsham said, “You will definitely enjoy this time with the Lord and be recharged in your walk with Christ!”

The Evangelistic Ministry, part of the Clergy Division of GMWA, supports and spiritually undergirds the work of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. The National Evangelistic Chairman is Elder Eugene Bryant of New Philadelphia Baptist Church in Los Angeles.

“We invite all pastors and ministers to participate in the L.A. Chapter Evangelistic Ministry. We meet every 1st Tuesday at People’s Independent Church of Christ at 6:30 p.m.,” said Worsham.

The Daily Bread Worship Experience is held every fifth Friday and rotates among the churches of L.A. Chapter members. The next service will be on Friday, August 31, at 7 p.m., with Host Pastor Ryan Small and the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 4927 S. Western Ave., in Los Angeles.
