FREE TAX PREP LOS ANGELES ANNOUNCES FREE TAX PREP EVENT ON TAX DAY APRIL 18
The day-long event will offer IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.
WHAT:
FreeTax Prep Los Angeles will host a day-long, free tax prep event on Tax Day with IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers. Spanish-speaking and Korean-speaking representatives available. ELIGIBILITY:
Tax filers who earned less than $54,000 last year may be eligible to file free and qualify for up to $6,000 cash back through tax credits like the Cal EITC and the Federal EITC; (Earned Income Tax Credit)

Free Tax Prep Los Angeles is a public and private collaboration led by the City of Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA), the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA), the Koreatown Youth + Community Center (KYCC), Citi Community Development and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Free Tax Prep Los Angeles serves to promote and support the filing of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) among low-to-moderate income communities in the City and County of Los Angeles.
