Pastor J. Edgar Boyd and the members of First A.M.E. Church of Los Angeles will welcome Bishop T. Larry Kirkland, Sr., as the guest preacher on Sunday, December 21, at the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., worship services.
Bishop Kirkland is the presiding prelate of the Fifth Episcopal District of the A.M.E. Church. He oversees hundreds of A.M.E. churches located in the 16 states west of the Mississippi River.
A graduate of Alcorn State University, he received his master’s degree from Mississippi State University and attended Claremont School of Theology and California Graduate School of Theology.
