A self-described citizen’s architect, Drake dedicated his career to giving a voice to those who find it difficult to advocate for themselves.  “Everyone deserves good design,” he said, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that the communities he served transform physically while remaining sensitive to the residents and users of the project. Drake studied at the University of Illinois and Howard University, and previously served on the AIALA Board of Directors and as the National and SoCal NOMA President.  (otis.edu)
