On a day where Kobe Bryant was inducted into the Hall of Fame, the Dodgers beat the Marlins in a shutout 7-0. Trevor Bauer 10 strikeouts contributed to the win over the Marlins. The Dodgers have won four straight and they are now 22-17.

Manager Dave Roberts paid homage to the icon Kobe Bryant. “He’s a legend and an icon. When you talk about legacy there’s a lot of things and a lot of people he impacted off the court.”

Mookie Betts showed his respect by wearing the Kobe Protro HOF cleats.

The Dodgers took momentum when Justin Turner and Max Muncy hit back to back hits in the 4th. They extended their lead 4-0 after the Muncy RBI.

The Dodgers took a big hit when Corey Seager was hit with a pitch in the right hand and left the game. Seager will be placed on the injured list and they expect to call up another infielder to replace him.

DJ Peters had a two-run single in the 8th inning. Gavin Lux scored the third run of the inning when Mookie Betts hit a fly ball.
