Los Angeles Chargers Head Coach Anthony Lynn completed his coaching staff for the 2017 season, the team announced Monday.
“I am excited to have our coaching staff in place and we are all eager to get to work,” said Lynn. “We have one of the most talented groups of coaches I have ever been around. There is a great mix of coaches with veteran experience and leadership as well as some very strong, young and innovative coaches. I am very excited to work alongside these men.”
Lynn’s first coaching staff includes two former NFL head coaches – Offensive Coordinator Ken Whisenhunt and Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley – and a former NFL defensive coordinator: Linebackers Coach Richard Smith. Special Teams Coordinator George Stewart will also serve as the team’s assistant head coach.
