BET’s hit scripted series, “Hit The Floor” is back with more dancing, more drama, and everything you need to get your Tuesday night ended the right way.

Season 4 has some of your favorites returning including McKinley Freeman (Derek Roman), Katherine Bailess (Kyle Hart), Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Lionel Davenport), and Jonathan Richard McDaniel (German Vega).

Viewers will also be introduced to some new faces including Teyana Taylor (London), Tiffany Hines (Eve), Kyndall Ferguson DeBarge (Jamie), and Cort King (Pax Lowe).

Fans will continue to see the effect of power, money, and fame of professional basketball through the eyes of the LA Devils and the dance team, the Devil Girls.

Creator and Executive Producer, James LaRosa is excited for the world to see the drama unfold behind the scenes of everyone’s favorite television basketball team.

“The inspiration behind “Hit The Floor” was originally the idea to do behind the scenes of professional basketball through the eyes, it’s a soap, so it’s going to be through the eyes of the female characters and no one is really more under the lights than the dancers and so really it was just about having a show where you can kind of get down and dirty,” LaRosa said.

“It has sports, it has dance, it has drama. And to really give the audience a show that is fun and that is shocking and surprising,” LaRosa said.

Cast member, O’Keefe who plays the manipulative Lionel Davenport is also super excited for fans to see what’s up her sleeve this season. O’Keefe knew the show would do great and the world would love it.

“I said James will not rest until the show is back on the air,” O’Keefe emphasized.

Bailess returns as Kyle Hart, the Devil Girl captain. As many already know Kyle is not afraid to do what it takes to get what she wants.

“My character has been on since season one and this is season four and I call her a Southern fried sex on legs,” Bailes said. “She was a stripper turned Devil Girl and she’s out for what she wants and she’ll do anything to get it,” Bailess said.

Hines joins the cast as the new mysterious Eve with some “ties” to the basketball league.

“This is the first season we will be introduced to Eve and she’s new to the game but not necessarily new to the world. She’s got some surprising ties to Devils nation but I can’t say what those ties are yet,” Hines hints.

Brent Antonello who plays the Jude Kincade, agent turned Executive vice president for The Devils returns as a fan favorite and this time with a little more foundation.

“He’s grown up in the business and he started an alliance with Lionel on the show. This season we will see Jude have a little bit more of a backbone. He’s not as passive as previous seasons. He knows who he is as a gay man. He just knows what he wants,” Antonello states.

King will make his entrance as Pax Lowe, the rookie Devil player and the ultimate ladies’ man.

“Pax can be described as he’s just a young kid, fresh out of college, having just graduated. This is his first season as a professional basketball player so he’s really just adjusting to this whole new life with the sex, the power, the glitz and glam.”

“He’s a good kid. He has a good heart. He came from a very good home. I think the audience is going to go on a really nice roller coaster with him because we see is he going to stick with himself or is he going to change and buckle under all this fame and pressure,” King said.

Freeman who plays the star player of the Devils, Derek Roman, can’t wait for fans to see what this season has in store. If many are wondering if McKinley’s basketball game is just as good as Derek’s, McKinley ensures he is as good off screen as well as the MVP character he plays on TV.

“I play Derek Roman on the show, a professional basketball player and I played basketball in high school and college so it’s like riding a bike. The cool thing about having basketball experience and working on the show is how often do you get to walk into an arena by yourself and shoot around so like before we shoot the scenes in the arena it is completely empty,” Freeman states.

McDaniel plays German Vega, the ex-boyfriend of dancer for the Devil girls, Ahsha Hayes, who ultimately falls in love with Derek Roman. “German Vega has actually been on the show since the conception. He started off as the lovable boyfriend of Hayes who was the lead Devil Girl and he was just this very supportive boyfriend who was in love with his girl. German has went through this roller coaster of supportive boyfriend to potential murderer,” Vega said.

Season four premieres Tuesday, July 10 at 10p.m., PST.
