LEGENDARY BUSINESSMAN, PHILANTHROPIST AND COMMUNITY LEADER CLARENCE AVANT DIES 

Clarence Avant affectionately known as “The Black Godfather” passed away peacefully in his Los Angeles home on Sunday, August 13, 2023.  Clarence Avant whose leadership and influence has been felt for decades in the music, sports, entertainment and political world along with an unwavering advocacy for African Americans and all those less fortunate was 92 years old.
