Barbara Morrison’s 6 Nights of New Year’s Eve will make two stops at Los Angeles venues and be available to stream online until Friday.
The first three shows, presented by the California Jazz & Blues Museum and Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, are at The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, 4305 Degnan Blvd., No. 101, Los Angeles, and started on Sunday. The next shows are scheduled for tonight and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and will feature Sonny Green, Bernie Pearl and Torre Reese.
Manchester Banquet Hall, 1735 W. Manchester Ave., Los Angeles, is the site of the next three shows, starting on Wednesday. The shows at the Manchester Banquet Hall will feature The Delfonics, Klymaxx, five-time Grammy Award nominee Barbara Morrison, Al Williams Jazz Society, Sevilla, Elaine Gibbs Tribute to Aretha Franklin Cowboy Soul Band, Karen A. Clark, Dante Chambers,
Green and Pearl.
The California Jazz and Blues Hall of Fame Ceremony inductees Lester Hand, Elana Gilliam, Melba Joyce, David Ross, Michael Saucier, Peter Buck, Charles Small, Al Williams, Sevilla, Ray Bailey, and Alfreda James are expected to perform.
Proceeds from the New Year’s Eve events will benefit the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center and the California Jazz and Blues Museum.
