“Locked In and Locked Down To Prayer”
Well, it occurs to me that if there is to be continued LockDown, it needs to be those of us who say we are special people of a chosen generation already locked down and locked in to our Creator. That’s the first thing. Let’s establish who we are and to whom do we belong? Do you think you are in and of yourself alone? How could that be? Is that possible? Don’t you belong to somebody…and if not to a specific person you know this much that you didn’t create yourself! You are not a robot. You know how there are those tests online that ask the question, “Are you a robot?” You have to prove it by drawing from the images correctly otherwise you don’t get anywhere and you never prove that you are or are not a robot. How about that? But this is a great opportunity to grasp onto the fact there is the creator who knows who you are and knows where you are and knows your name and knows your address or if you don’t have an address, He knows where you sleep whether on the streets or in a corner or wherever you are. You’re never alone unless you reject or deny your Creator. Even then there is no place to run and no where to hide to get away from the all knowing God Almighty omniscient and omnipresent who sees everything and knows everything. So, where are we going with this? “If my people (those who have accepted their need for the one and only Saviour, Jesus Christ and of course there are those who are on their way to accepting Him and He is waiting for them patiently due to His unfailing love and patience) those who are called by my name would humble themselves and seek my face (look to Him for His attention and pray to Him (The Lord over all) those who are called by His name, then, He will hear you from His heavenly abode. He will give attention to your concern and request and if you turn away from doing things that are against His will and teachings, He will hear you and will answer your prayers. He will answer our prayers, the prayers of the saints.) He says humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and you will be exalted in due time.) Humble means to come with an attitude of submission that what you are asking for is not something you can accomplish by yourself. Along with coming with an attitude of submissiveness, it’s like throwing in the towel to God. Lockdown to Prayer. Don’t give up! Along the way you may see Him in action. Pray without ceasing. An answer is coming…on the way. Turn from doing the same old ineffective actions… wrongdoings that get you into trouble and you end up with no progress…making decisions on your own without consulting to Him. Making decisions that you think you will force your desire to be His decision and His answer. People keep making that mistake thinking you can require God to do what you’re telling Him to do just because that is what you want to have or get and trying to make God a part of it. Uh-Uh, not going to work. So here we are here and now. If there’s a LockDown, we need to call on the Lord and we need to Lockdown with prayer. We need to do just what is above and stated in (2 Chronicles 7:14). Our predicament needs to be taken seriously because only Almighty God can turn this around. Some will say, “Well, a vaccine is coming.” But, what we need to understand is that if the vaccine works it can work ONLY if He allows it to be effective. The key to this verse is “pray and, cry out to Him.
