Senior moms residing at West Angeles Villas in South L.A. received rose bouquets on Mother’s Day, May 8, thanks to the generosity of A Father Forever nonprofit group.

Deciding to honor homebound mothers, the organization purchased and delivered 105 dozen roses to 100 moms.   Many of the recipients lived in the apartment complex on S. Crenshaw Boulevard, but other beneficiaries throughout the area were gifted flowers as well.

Explaining the motivation behind the group’s action, CEO and founder William Denson said, “A Father Forever believes Mother’s Day in reality is 365 days a year and we want to take a brief moment to celebrate our senior mothers.

“We understand the challenges that mothers are faced with and we want them to know that A Father Forever loves them and appreciates all the sacrifices they have made over the decades and centuries for and to us,” he insisted.
