The Grammy Museum launches online applications for GRAMMY Camp – Jazz Session
The Grammy Museum is currently accepting applications for its 2018 GRAMMY Camp-Jazz Session for high school students. The program is part of the Museum’s Grammy in the Schools offerings and is supported in part by Converse, Journeys, RBC Capital Markets, Hot Topic Foundation, and the Ford Motor Company Fund.
GRAMMY-Camp – Jazz Session is open to high school (public, private, parochial, homeschool, etc.) musicians. Those who are selected will participate in the 2018 Grammy Jazz Tour Jan. 23-29, 2018, in New York City, the host city for the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Students will perform at high-profile GRAMMY® Week events, and will attend the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast on Jan. 28, 2018. Students are also eligible for college scholarships offered by our college partners; Berklee College of Music, Manhattan School of Music, the School of Jazz at the New School, and USC Thornton School of Music. GRAMMY Camp – Jazz Session receives additional support from the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation, Zildjian, Capitol Recording Studios (EMI Music), and CenterStaging.
Deadline: Students interested in participating in the 2018 GRAMMY Camp – Jazz Session can apply at www.grammyintheschools.com. Applications are due Oct. 22, 2017.
