Al Mac Wil, a Stellar-nominated Urban Country Gospel artist, will headline the City Sounds – Council District 9 Concert on Friday, July 26, at 7 p.m., in the Clive Davis Theater at the Grammy Museum, 800 West Olympic Blvd., in downtown Los Angeles.
The Grammy Museum invited the public out on Saturday, June 8 for a screening of the Grammy-nominated documentary and musical “Little Richard: I am Everything.”

Music producer Jermaine Dupri was honored at the Grammy Museum in Downtown Los Angeles, Thursday Sep. 21. Dupri, founder of So-So Def Recordings, was issued an entire exhibit dedicated to his role in shaping southern hip-hop culture. This marks the first time the Grammy Museum has dedicated an entire exhibit for hip-hop music.
The program is part of the Museum’s Grammy in the Schools offerings and is supported in part by Converse, Journeys, RBC Capital Markets, Hot Topic Foundation, and the Ford Motor Company Fund.
Grammy award-winning artist Mavis Staples received the second annual Woody Guthrie Award at the Grammy Museum on July 22.
