Maestro Terrance T. White is a talented and anointed visionary, music producer, film composer, consultant, entrepreneur, man of faith, and the proud husband to the beautiful Dr. Alexis Nicole White, a clinical psychologist and the owner of Premium Wellness Group, LLC.
White, who has shared the stage with many Christian and mainstream acts, including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Sheryl Brady, Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, John P Kee, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, William Murphy, Teddy Riley, Black Street, Jonathan Butler, and many others, started his music career at a very early age.
Raised as a pastor’s child, he began playing the piano at the age of seven and he frequently performed at his father’s church and various other churches, which sharpened his musical abilities.
When he was only 16-years-old, White formed his first gospel group, Voices of Victory, and began writing and composing music.

In college, he studied Jazz Performance and Classical Piano and earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from North Carolina Central University. Later, he founded an indie record label, Whitehouse Music and Entertainment Group.
While still in college, White had the opportunity to perform on jazz piano with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Branford Marsalis, Nneena Freelon, Grady Tate, Freddy Cole, Jimmie Heath, and Slide Hampton, to name a few.
White also built a recording studio in his college townhome and recorded many area singers and musicians at that time, and his label went on to break smooth jazz artist Marcus Anderson, who is the former front-line saxophone player for Prince and CeeLo Green.
White’s early exposure and experiences with these various genres of music, along with his natural talent, unique skill level, and his tenacious love for music, helped to cultivate and develop his uniquely distinctive sound, wide ranged perspective, and visionary approach to music.
In 2022, White assumed the position of vice president of Red Worship LLC, an independent record label and the home of the worship collective “Red Worship.”
“Pastor Ron Carpenter, who’s been pastoring Redemption Church or over 30 years now, birthed the record label, ‘Redemption Worship’ back in 2016. Me coming on as his music director three years ago in San Jose is what got the wheels turning to revisit the project and to get the label going again,” said White.
The label has grown tremendously since he took on the role of VP. Their first single reached #3 on the iTunes Christian Charts and the Extended Play (EP) hit #2 on iTunes Christian Charts.
Describing the Red Worship sound, White said, “Our sound is so unique that it wouldn’t be considered gospel, or contemporary Christian, or any other genres of Christian music. It’s a blend of a lot of different things.
“Each singer, psalmist, worship leader and musician brings all of who they are, and what their musical background is. Under the anointing, a very unique sound is created. That distinctive sound connects with people of all backgrounds, from all walks of life, regardless of their denomination,” he noted.
“I do secular work as well, but you can always tell when there’s something special about certain voices because there’s a weight behind that sound that can translate to others, and hopefully touch the entire world.
“The mission is for them to touch God with their voices, and for Him in return to touch the people. This is the approach from the singers on this project,” explained White.
When asked where the name “Red Worship” came from and the significance of the color red, White replied, “The color or word red first started with us wanting to shorten the name of the actual group, which is an extension of Redemption Church. So, we said, ‘Let’s make it Red.’ So, that’s where it started.
“Once we started developing the music and looking into the depth of what Red Worship is, it began to mean so much more; particularly to the ministry, being that we’re a kingdom ministry, and our sound isn’t of one genre or another, but a blend of a lot of different sounds. We thought, red is actually the color that connects us all together,” shared White.
“We also thought about red being the loudest color on the spectrum and the fact that the color red represents the sound that we bring about, which is bold, expressive, stands out, and can connect with any denomination or religious conviction. And red represents the Blood of Jesus, and it’s the color of the blood that we all bleed, which connects us all,” he concluded.
Red Worship’s EP “The Loudest Color” is a must have for worshippers. Within the first few notes of the song “Perfect Strength” you hear that “sound”. That sounds that ushers in the presence of God, and in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.
