On July 8, Wellnest celebrated the grand opening of its first permanent supportive housing development, The Nest on Florence. Located at 410 E. Florence Avenue in South Los Angeles, the five-story, 40,848-square-foot building features 51 fully furnished studios and one-bedroom units.

The 8-week Blue Shield Promise Community Art Therapy program was held in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles, Challengers Clubhouseand Wellnest(formerly Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic). The project helps local youth deal with everyday trauma they face by using their creativity to help design a mural based on their hopes and aspirations.
