For the second consecutive year, Southern California stunned its crosstown rival in dramatic fashion in Westwood as time expired in the closing moments.
No.17 Southern California had been riding a seven-game winning streak coming into its Pac-12 matchup with the Arizona Wildcats.
Southern California sophomore guard Ethan Anderson tallied a career-high 19 points as the Trojans made a statement while clamping down one of the top teams in the Pac-12 conference.
The Galen Center was empty yet again but the Trojans didn’t need a home crowd, extending their dominant win streak to six games fending off the Washington State Cougars, 85-77.
