Students, parents and teachers from throughout Los Angeles County rallied on the steps of Susan Miller Dorsey High School on Thursday, Nov. 19 to demand that the Los Angeles Unified School District improve conditions impacting Los Angeles schools. Supported by UTLA members, the protestors voiced their concerns to Los Angeles Unified School District’s Office of Government Relations representative Pedro Salcedo, who was present to hear the grievances. The Dorsey girls’ volleyball team earned the in-season championship for the Coliseum League.
