Cowboys Crush Rams 43-20

It was a homecoming for Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford won a state title in Dallas for Highland Park High School, and his family lives in the area. It was not the homecoming he imagined as Stafford left the game in the third quarter after injuring his thumb as the Cowboys (5-2) routed the Rams (3-5) on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Baker Mayfield’s Late Touchdown Gives Rams a 17-16 Win Over Raiders

With 1:45 left in regulation, the Rams offense took the field and were down by six points against the Las Vegas Raiders. Quarterback Baker Mayfield had only been with the Rams for two days and mainly relied on his instincts to play. Despite almost making a turnover and being sacked for a nine-yard loss, Mayfield advanced the offense through passes. With 10 seconds left, he sent a 23-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Van Jefferson to tie the game and an extra point secured the Rams’ 17-16 victory over the Raiders. LA Rams Lose Close Game to Seattle Seahawks, 27-23

The Los Angeles Rams suffered their sixth consecutive loss on Sunday at SoFi Stadium to the Seattle Seahawks, 27-23. Head coach Sean McVay announced the biggest Rams news. In his postgame interview, McVay revealed that Stafford has a spinal cord contusion and is probably out for the season.
