First AME Church of Los Angeles hosted the City of Los Angeles Annual African American Heritage Month Worship Service on Sunday, Feb. 18.
The Rev. Ann Champion Shaw will be the guest speaker at the Rev. Jarena Lee Prayer Breakfast presented by the AME Church’s Southern California Conference Women in Ministry (SCCWIM). The event takes place on Saturday, March 17, 9:30 a.m., at Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson St., in Carson. The Rev. Dr. Charolyn J. Jones is the SCCWIM coordinator, the Rev.
