Western Baptist State Convention Holds 132nd Annual Session

President J. Benjamin Hardwick and the executive board of the Western Baptist State Convention of California will host the 132nd Annual Session convening on Saturday, August 6, and continuing through Thursday, August 11, at the Praises of Zion Baptist Church, located at 8222 South San Pedro St., in Los Angeles.

  The Western Baptist State Convention (WBSC) is preparing for its 127th Annual Session, which officially opens on Monday, August 7, at 7 p.m., and continues through Thursday, August 10, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1502 E. 20th St., in Santa Monica. New Mount Calvary Celebrates 54th Anniversary

  Excitement is building as Pastor Sonja R. Dawson and the members of New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church prepare to celebrate their 54th anniversary. The theme is “A Church Standing on the Faithfulness of God” based on Hebrews 10:23. Sixty years is a long time to do anything, but the Rev. Dr. J.
