Phillips Temple CME Marks 113th Anniversary

For more than a century, Phillips Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church has spread the Gospel throughout South Los Angeles and now, Pastor Bernard Jackson and his congregation are preparing to observe their 113th anniversary. The celebration takes place on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m., in the historic sanctuary located at 973 E. 43rd St., in Los Angeles. Former NASA Exec Speaks at Phillips Temple CME

Pastor, motivational speaker and trainer, and former National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) executive, the Rev. Dr. Amanda H. Phillips Temple marks 109th year

Phillips Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church, 971 E. 43rd Street, will celebrate 109 years in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 21.  Morning worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. A special anniversary luncheon will follow. Senior Bishop Lawrence L.
