A Powerful Music: Dr. Diane White-Clayton and the UCLA African American Music Ensemble

The UCLA African American Music Ensemble will perform its winter concert of gospel, hymns, and spirituals on Sunday, March 2 at 3 p.m. at Olivet Lutheran Church, directed by Diane White-Clayton, PhD, lecturer at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, who discusses the power of music in the Black church and the origin of enslaved people that created it.

Finding scriptural support for decisions in life can be challenging, but a new workshop hopes to bring clarity to those with questions.
