L.A. Rams Trade Jalen Ramsey to Miami Dolphins

According to ESPN, the Los Angeles Rams have agreed to trade cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long. The NFL will process the trade on Wednesday, the official start date of the 2023 season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced the addition of Kirsten Watson to their broadcast team. In her role as a reporter and host, Watson will contribute to the Dodgers’ SportsNet LA game broadcasts and studio programming as well as pre-and postgame coverage on both television and radio.

SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, hosted a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 8 marking the start of its inaugural year. The ceremony included Rams Owner/Chairman and SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park developer E. Stanley Kroenke, Chargers Owner/Chairman Dean Spanos and the city of Inglewood’s Mayor James T. Butts, with a video message from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. NFL Network’s Steve Wyche served as master of ceremonies.

‘Thursday Night Football’ to air on both CBS and NBC

“Thursday Night Football” will air on both CBS and NBC next season. The NFL has agreed to a two-year deal with the networks, the league announced Monday. CBS had broadcast games in partnership with NFL Network the past two seasons. A person familiar with the contracts told The Associated Press the deals are worth $450 million for 10 games, five each on CBS and NBC. CBS paid $300 million for eight games in 2015.
