With authoritative gameplay, the Los Angeles Lakers ended their second-round battle against the Houston Rockets in five games. For the first time since 2010, the Lakers reached the Western Conference Finals.
After being defeated in Game 1, the Denver Nuggets set the tone of Game 2 and the Los Angeles Clippers struggled to keep up. The Clippers dropped Game 2 against the Nuggets 101-110.
NBPA Executive Director Michele Roberts and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver released the following joint statement today:
