Women’s History Spotlight: God’s Direction Guides Frost as NAUW Sectional Director
Clara Frost serves as the southwest sectional director of the National Association of University Women. In this capacity, she oversees 10 branches in Southern California in fulfilling the mission of NAUW to serve women, youth and the disadvantaged in our communities and in developing countries. NAUW was founded in 1910 by Mary Church Terrell, Sara Winifred Brown, Nancy Fairfax Brown and Mary E. Cromwell. According to the NAUW website, the women “stepped out on faith to start an organization to stimulate women to attain professional excellence, exert influence in movements for civic good and promote a personal and intellectual fellowship
