Metro Art Los Angeles presents KJazz Tracks at Union Station, a free concert taking place on Saturday, April 27, from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., at Union Station, located at 800 N. Alameda St., in downtown L.A.
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) celebrated the grand opening of “Arts & Culture Along the K,” a multimedia exhibit showcasing the many great artists, culture and artworks connected by the K Line. The opening reception took place at the Museum of African American Art in Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
The Compton Unified School District (CUSD), in partnership with the Carrot Group and the Los Angeles Chargers, will host its first-ever eSports High School Tournament between its four high schools – Centennial, Compton, Compton Early College, and Dominguez High Schools – to kick off a districtwide career program and strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) skills in schools.
