CJF Plans Event to Honor and Help California Jazz Musicians

The California Jazz Foundation will present its 11th annual “Give the Band a Hand” gala fundraiser at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel on Saturday, April 8, at 5:30 p.m. The event honors the best of the jazz community while raising money to provide support to California’s jazz musicians in financial or medical need.

Pianist and composer Paul Cornish has performed around the world from Europe, Australia, and South America to Carnegie Hall, and worked with esteemed artists from Herbie Hancock to John Legend. He won the American Jazz Piano Competition in 2018, and he is on the faculty of the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
