The Los Angeles Lakers hit a snag in their playoffs run as forward Anthony Davis was sidelined with a groin strain during their game three bout against the Phoenix Suns. Davis played for 19 minutes and scored six points.

With new-addition center Andre Drummond, the Los Angeles Lakers had a strong first quarter performance against the Milwaukee Bucks. They went 8-13 from the three-point range with forwards Kyle Kuzma and Markieff Morris leading the offense. The Lakers only had two turnovers.  

Lakers Work on Consistency to Secure Victories

The Los Angeles Lakers battled hard in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Philadelphia 76ers by 10 points.  Although they lost 101-109 to the 76ers, the Lakers rallied from an 18-point deficit, even coming within four points. 

Agent: LeBron inks 2-year, $85 million extension with Lakers

LeBron James has agreed to a two-year, $85 million contract extension through the 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

James’ agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, confirmed the deal Wednesday during the first week of training camp for the NBA champions. The Lakers are still finalizing their new contract with big man Anthony Davis, who is also represented by Paul.

Lakers Sign Marc Gasol

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed center Marc Gasol, it was announced today by Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Rob Pelinka. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
