CeCe Winans Wins 2 Grammys for Gospel Hits

  Gospel recording artist CeCe Winans garnered two wins at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on Jan. 25. Winans’ song, “Never Have To Be Alone” won the top award in the Best Gospel Performance/Song category. Her co-nominees were “Too Hard Not To” – Tina Campbell, “You Deserve It” – JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise featuring Bishop Cortez Vaughn, “Better Days” – Le’Andria, and “My Life” – The Walls Group. For Best Gospel Album, Winans was again the winner for “Let Them Fall In Love.” That category featured strong contenders including “Crossover” — Travis Greene, “Bigger Than Me” — Le’Andria, Wins

CeCe Winans’ New Album Features Range of Gospel Genres

Priscilla “CeCe” Winans touches hearts once again with her new album, “Let Them Fall In Love.” The collection features a range of gospel songs from the reassuring testimony of “He’s Never Failed Me Yet” to the catchy beats of “Lowly.” The album also debuts her collaboration with her son, Alvin Love III, who wrote and co-produced several songs on the record with Tommy Sims. In fact, according to Winans, the “generation-building” project was Alvin’s idea. “Alvin shared with me a vision that he had of a record that was bold and a little different than anything I’d ever done before.
