Hall of Fame defensive lineman Curley Culp dies at 75

Curley Culp, the Hall of Fame defensive lineman who helped the Kansas City Chiefs win their first Super Bowl during a 14-year NFL career, died Saturday of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 75.

Culp announced this month that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. His wife, Collette Bloom Culp, announced “on behalf of our family and with a broken heart” the five-time All-Pro’s death.

Journeyman Raheem Mostert Becomes Star For 49ers

Mostert led the 49ers in rushing this season with 772 yards and provided the signature performance of his career on the big stage of the NFC championship game when he ran for 220 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-20 win over Green Bay on Sunday that sent the Niners to the Super Bowl.

Charger Girls to Host Open-Call Audition in Front of Downtown LA Skyline

On Sunday, May 19, hundreds of talented dancers will compete for a coveted spot on the world-renowned Charger Girls, one of professional sports’ most respected cheer and dance teams.  With the Chargers slated to play as many as four national primetime games at home in 2019, including two on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, perhaps the biggest highlight for the newest Charger Girls will be the opportunity to perform on an international stage when the Bolts host the Kansas City Chiefs at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Nov.18. 

Los Angeles Chargers 2019 Schedule Announced

The National Football League unveiled the complete schedule for its 100th season today, and the Los Angeles Chargers will open the 2019 regular season Sunday, Sept. 8 at home against the Indianapolis Colts and close out the year on the road with a divisional tilt Sunday, Dec. 29 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
