U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice, has named West Los Angeles Medical Center along with 12 other Kaiser Permanente Southern California hospitals as a 2025 High Performing medical center for Maternity Care.
Now that COVID-19 is less of a threat due to a majority of Californians being vaccinated, we’re likely to see more ghosts, goblins and witches walking down neighborhood streets this Halloween as trick-or-treating is expected to be a common sight in communities across Southern California.
West Los Angeles was one of 22 Kaiser Permanente hospitals recognized among the “Best Maternity Care Hospitals 2020” by Newsweek magazine. The elite designation, awarded to only 231 hospitals in the United States, identifies leading maternity care programs based on rigorous quality and safety standards. Kaiser Permanente hospitals represent nearly 10% of those named to the prestigious list nationwide – and 44.4% of those listed in California.
