Georgia Laster Association of Musicians Hosts Scholarship Competition

Talented high school vocalists and musicians are encouraged to participate in the 2023 Annual High School Music Scholarship Competition sponsored by the Georgia Laster Association of Musicians, Inc. (G.L.A.M., Inc.). Online applications are now available at www.glamincla.org/hsmsc, announced G.L.A.M. President Yolanda West, who added that the deadline to apply is May 31. “Young people sing or play instruments are invited to take part in this event.  We will present scholarship awards for $1,000, $750 and $500 to the top three winners,” said West. Kamlager-Dove Announces 2023 Congressional Art Competition 

Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove (CA-37) announced the opening of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for students in California’s 37th District. The Congressional Art Competition allows high school students to submit their original pieces for a chance to have their artwork displayed in the Capitol for a year. 

Students Invited to Participate in NAACP ACT-SO Competition  

High school students are invited to register for the NAACP ACT-SO Competition. The hybrid event, hosted by the Beverly Hill-Hollywood Branch, is free for young people and local medalists can attend the National competition in Boston.
