Malik Books, an independent, black-owned bookstore, is set to host Devyn Bakewell, the granddaughter of civil rights activist and entrepreneur Danny Bakewell Sr., book signing inside the Westfield Culver City (6000 Sepulveda Blvd., Suite 2470., Culver City 90230) on Sunday, December 18, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Devyn will be signing copies of her latest novel, “Greater Life.”

“Greater Life” is the second novel and the sequel to Howard alumni and author Devyn Bakewell’s debut novel, “Greater Love.” The sequel continues the life and love story between Ryan McKnight and Devyn Baker, two college students who attend Truth University, an HBCU in New York.
