Clippers Help Give Glasses to Students in Inglewood Schools
The Los Angeles Clippers Foundation collaborated with the non-profit organization Vision to Learn to provide free glasses to students who need them in the Inglewood School District. To introduce the partnership, on January 19, Clippers players Paul Pierce and Chris Paul visited Pierce’s Alma Mater Inglewood High School to distribute glasses to Inglewood students in need. “I don’t want to always be labeled as somebody who just helps another kid play basketball. Clippers Coach is Honored By YMCA
Los Angeles Clippers Head coach Glenn “Doc” Rivers received the Brotherhood Award from the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and delivered the keynote address during the organization’s 45th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Brotherhood Breakfast on Friday. YMCA presented Rivers with this award for his service to marginalized youth in the Los Angeles Area. The Los Angeles Clippers Foundation recently donated $1 million and made a five-year commitment to the organization. The funding and commitment also includes the implementation of the Jr. Clippers Youth Basketball Program, beginning this Spring. The basketball program will be available in 26 locations across

The Chirs Paul Foundation and the Clippers Foundation collaborated to renovate a community center in Compton. The Salvation Army Compton Corp Community Center just had a grand opening of their Read to Achieve Live, Learn and Play Center.
