Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) presented a $75,000 donation to Brotherhood Crusade towards the creation of the new Danny J. Bakewell, Sr. Community Garden at the organization’s headquarters in South Los Angeles.
On Saturday, December 11, The Brotherhood Crusade held its annual “Winter Wonderland: Christmas in the Neighborhood/Navidad En El Barrio” event, where people in the community lined up in their cars on Crenshaw Blvd.

Individuals interested in taking advantage of this tremendous opportunity are invited to attend an orientation being held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Brotherhood Crusade – YouthSource Center located at 4401 Crenshaw Boulevard, Suite 103, Los Angeles, California 90043 at the corner of Crenshaw Boulevard and Leimert in the Chase Bank building (entrance in the rear of the building).
Candidates who successfully graduate from the program will be placed in full-time, part-time employment or a paid internship.
The Brotherhood Crusade works to empower and support underserved youth in South Los Angeles through mentoring, education, health and wellness, and leadership programs.
Organization to utilize funds to build on its near 50-year track record of exemplary service to the community.
